Qualified Physiotherapist, who completed his/her acceptable qualification in Physiotherapy from a University duly established by an act of Parliament, State or MHRD (in case of Deemed to be a University) and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) in a full time mode.
Membership Criteria
Foreign-trained Physiotherapists who are working in India and wish to join this Society may also be considered as Member provided they who are eligible to become a member of national PT association of his/her home country and that National PT Association is a member of World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) or have a license to practice in their country.
All the membership applications will be assessed/scrutinized by the Sub‐Committee on Membership, appointed by the Governing Body and the recommendations on every application will be sent to the Secretary for the final approval of Governing Body and further action.
